• Tolland Retiring Old Education Equipment That Was Once All The rage (patch.com) — Tolland school officials are clearing out once cutting-edge classroom technology that no longer fits today's needs. From an old bulb projector and boom box at Tolland Middle School to a failed laminator and outdated special education testing materials, several pieces of equipment across town schools have been declared obsolete and slated for disposal.

As the FBI works with Greek authorities to bring him back to the U.S. to serve a seven-year sentence, Connecticut officials are also seeking to revoke his state pension and seize his Farmington home.
   

• RHAM earns a 1-1 draw against Manchester to secure a spot in the state tournament (thechronicle.com) — RHAM boys soccer clinched a spot in the Class M state tournament with a 1-1 draw against Manchester, setting up a key matchup with the defending champion Tolland Eagles on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Tolland fans can look ahead to a high-stakes test of their team's title defense against a postseason-bound rival.
