Another Arrest Made In Violent Tolland Street Takeover
Three people now face charges following the May 21 incident in which more than 100 people blocked Route 195 in Tolland and caused damage.
TOLLAND, CT — State police have made an additional arrest connected to a violent street takeover in Tolland in May.
Marc Mann, 21, of Bloomfield, was charged with first-degree rioting, conspiracy to commit first-degree rioting, first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree reckless endangerment and causing unauthorized damage to a motor vehicle.
He was released on a $5,000 nonsurety bond, and is due to appear Sept. 13 in Rockville Superior Court.

The late night street takeover on May 21 stretched from Fieldstone Commons up to the town green and involved burnouts and violence that included damaged vehicles belonging to members of the public. More than 100 people were believed to have taken part, according to police.
A 20-year-old man from Norwalk was taken into custody soon after the incident, and a juvenile was arrested in early June.
