Attention Tolland Runners, Spectators: Manchester Road Race Now Has a Virtual Course Option

MANCHESTER, CT — OK runners ... want a sneak peek at the course for the 80th edition of the Manchester Road Race as you are waiting to get going?

Cannot get there on Thanksgiving morning and want to watch the festivities?

Want to participate in the race virtually?

Then check out the virtual course. Road Race officials have teamed up with Outside Interactive, a Boston-based company, that has filmed the race course and is offering a unique way to view it.

Here is the trailer:

On race day — Thanksgiving Day at 10 a.m. — folks will be able to log into the app and watch the the course video using an iPad or Android tablet. There is even a virtual participation option.

So far, a total of 10,076 have signed up for the race.
