Authorities Say Tolland Site of Chemical-Carrying Truck Crash is Clean

The truck was hauled out of the ditch off Interstate-84 on Tuesday.

TOLLAND, CT — The site of a truck crash on Interstate-84 involving chemicals has come up clean after testing, according to Tolland Alert.

The truck was out of the ditch between exits 67 and 68 eastbound and ready for towing by lunchtime on Tuesday.

That ended a cleanup period of a day-and-a-half after the Sunday night crash. The truck was coming from the Dallas area with a load of hazardous chemicals in containers, police and fire officials said.
