Babylegs: An Item No Parent of Young Children Should Be Without
Babyleg legwarmers are great clothing to use in the place of tights, pants or even long shirts. The store's grip socks are also perfect for babies just learning to walk.
One of the best gifts we received for my daughter since she was born was a pair of Babylegs legwarmers. It was given to us when she was about 6 months old, and I didn’t fully appreciate its worth at the time. Upon first glance, I wondered if I would ever even use it.
To be honest, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with the legwarmers and had never seen anything like them before. So I decided to check out their web site to see if I could get some ideas. The site had a whole photo gallery of babies and kids wearing Babylegs. There is also a link to their fan page on Facebook, where you can see more pictures and find current promotions.
About a week later, I decided to try them out and knew after just one use that I needed more. I put a onesie on my daughter and used Babylegs in the place of pants. Not only did she look adorable, it made changing her diaper a lot easier! I didn’t have to take the Babylegs off at all. Instead, I just unsnapped the onesie, changed her diaper, and snapped the onesie back up. The diaper change was done in record time.

My daughter is 14 months now, and I have found we’ve used Babylegs almost every day over the last 8 months. When she was learning to crawl, they protected her knees on our hardwood floors. She wears them in place of tights with all her dresses.
In the winter, I put the legwarmers under her pants and on her arms before putting her snowsuit on. This keeps the cold snow off her skin, and she stays toasty warm. We even use them as sleeves with her short sleeve onesies.

Over the summer, I often used Babylegs while at restaurants and stores. While the air conditioner felt great to me, it was a little too cold for little legs and arms.
I always carry a pair of Babylegs and a t-shirt or onesie in the diaper bag. This takes up less room and makes for an easy outfit change in the event a diaper leaks or food gets spilled while we’re out and about.
The Babylegs store also carries socks and tights. Its socks are the only socks my daughter did not manage to kick or take off her feet. They have grips on the bottom to prevent falling on hardwood and tile floors, which is perfect for little ones just learning how to walk. The socks come ankle- and knee-length. Many of them coordinate with the legwarmers. The tights come footed or footless and have a design on the bum for added cuteness.
If you don’t have a daughter, Babylegs still has you covered. It offers lots of adorable styles for boys too.
Recently, it just came out with a newborn line as well. These are shorter then the regular size legwarmers. They would be great to use at the hospital since the baby usually is put in a t-shirt and diaper. Newborn Babylegs would help keep itty bitty legs warm. The newborn legwarmers are designed to fit from zero to three months, while the regular size fits from four months through about four years.
Babylegs legwarmers are affordable, adorable, versatile, and can be used for several years. Quite simply, I don’t know what we would do without them.
