TOLLAND, CT — A car hit a liquor store in Tolland Tuesday afternoon, leaving a pile of bottles inside the business and the building damaged, officials said.

The crash at the Tolland Village Spirit Shop at 66 Merrow Road took place at about 1:30 p.m., fire officials said.

Town Manager Brian Foley said no injuries were reported, and the driver was cooperating with authorities. The damage appeared to be minor on the outside, but the inside was left with structural damage and a "big cleanup," Foley said.
