Brush Fire Spreads To Shed In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland responders had to contend with two brush fires Monday.

Just after midnight on Monday morning, the Tolland Fire Department responded to a brush fire that extended to a shed on Peter Green Road.

About a hour later, fire officials reported that the blaze had been extinguished and no injuries were reported, save for a couple of wheelbarrows nearby.

On Monday afternoon, Tolland firefighters fought a brush fire on Old Kent Road South. They were able to get to the blaze before it spread significantly, officials said.
