Bumper Torn Off Car During Hit-And-Run Incident In Tolland
A highway crash in Tolland left the bumper torn off one vehicle and state police searching for another.

TOLLAND, CT β A hit-and run crash on a section of Interstate 84 in Tolland left the bumper ripped off one vehicle and state police looking for the other.
The crash took place at 6:39 a.m. on March 1.
A 2009 Subaru Impreza being driven by a 66-year-old Ashford resident was on the westbound side of the highway in he left lane near Exit 68, according to a crash report.

An unknown vehicle sped up, moved to the center lane, and tried to pass the Subaru, but veered back into it and ripped the bumper off its front end, according to a crash report. The unknown vehicle then kept driving away, sate police said.
The driver of the Subaru was not hurt and there was no description of the evading vehicle in a crash report.
