Buy Tolland 300th Anniversary Merchandise as Holiday Gifts

The Tolland 300th Anniversary Committee will be selling its commemorative programs, throws, ornaments and apparel in the Tolland Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The items make great holiday gifts, and all of the proceeds will be used to present anniversary events in 2015. These include a Charter Day celebration on May 12, a house and museum tour on the historic Tolland Green June 7, the dedication of a Founders Monument June 13 and a large parade and festive townwide picnic on Sept. 19.
Tickets are also on sale for the May 16 anniversary gala at 6 p.m. at Georgina’s in Bolton. They are $50 a person and $500 for a table of ten, but the price rises to $75 a person and $750 for a table on April 1.
