Arts Center East (formerly Vernon Community Arts Center) will host A Celebration of Fiber Arts exhibit from October 11 to November 7, 2015. Artists 18 years of age and older may submit fiber art including, but not limited to, quilts, textiles and weaving. Jurors are Ed Johnetta Miller, a nationally renowned fiber artist, curator and lecturer and Michele Palmer, a fiber artist, author of twelve books on textiles and museum curator. Please do not submit work previously shown at Vernon Community Arts Center.
Each artist may enter up to three pieces. All work must be original and ready for display. Work must be hand delivered. There is a one-time, non-refundable, entry fee for submissions of $20 for one entry or $30 for up to three entries. Make checks payable to Arts Center East.
