Campus Notes: College Students From Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Lillian Baker, a Fashion and Retail Merchandising major from Tolland, presented work at the Lasell College Spring Connected Learning Symposium in April. Baker shared an e-Posterboard, "Capstone Project for Trunk Club Boston."

Roger Williams University, Bristol RI

• Five Tolland residents were among the students who received their degrees in May as part of the Class of 2019: Devan Carmody, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in B.S. in Accounting; Griffin Regan, Cum Laude with a degree in B.A. in Music; Brian Royx, B.A. in Public Health; Emily Warrington, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in B.A. in Graphic Design Communications; and Sarah White, Magna Cum Laude with a degree in B.A. in Psychology.

SUNY Oswego, Oswego NY

• Zachary R. Sluyter of Tolland has reserved a place among more than 1,500 first-year students at SUNY Oswego. Sluyter last attended Tolland High School, and is an intended criminal justice major. Fall 2019 classes will begin Aug. 26.
