Campus Notes: Honors For Tolland Students

TOLLAND, CT — Here is a look at how students from Tolland are doing on various college campuses.

• Samantha Matteo of Tolland, a sophomore Nursing major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester.
• Eastern Connecticut State University was one of only two institutions in the country to have its men's and women's soccer programs qualify for a 2017 United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award. Among the student-athletes who played for the men's or women's soccer teams in fall 2017 were: Kyle Boutot '21 of Tolland, who played back. Boutot majors in Sport & Leisure Management.
• Colby-Sawyer College has named Kirsten Shea to the Dean's List for academic achievement. Shea, of Tolland, majors in business administration and is a member of the class of 2018.
• Nazareth College is proud to announce that Heather Gilleran of Tolland, has been named to the dean's list for the Fall 2017 semester. Gilleran is majoring in Music Education.
• Eastern Connecticut State University student Taylor Coutant of Tolland recently completed an internship with Allstate Exclusive Agency. Coutant's major is Business Administration.
• The following students from Tolland have been named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at Stonehill College: Shannon Gorsky, Amanda Perra and Matthew Schoen.
• Olivia Simler of Tolland, was among 1,534 SUNY Oneonta students who earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2017 semester.
• Micah Warren, a sophomore major at Grove City College, has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction for the Fall 2017 semester.
• Sarah Allen, of Tolland, CT, a undeclared major, has made the President's List at Coastal Carolina University for the Fall 2017 semester.
• Worcester Polytechnic Institute has announced that Michael Oswald of Tolland, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in aerospace engineering, was named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2017 semester.
• Paige Swanbon from Tolland, has been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester.
• Assumption College has announced that students named to the College's Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester include include:Chelsea Domian of Tolland and Amanda Garrepy of Tolland.
• Grace Lavertu has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the Fall 2017 semester. Lavertu is from Tolland.
