TOLLAND, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

American International College, Springfield MA

• Rachel Perras, of Tolland, has been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List at American International College. Dean's List students are full time students who have achieved a 3.3 to a 4.0 GPA. Perras is majoring in Public Health.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg VA

• James Madison University is pleased to announce Kelly Marie Schatzlein of Tolland graduated with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies from The Graduate School at James Madison University during the Dec. 15, 2018 graduate school commencement exercises. Schatzlein was among more than 125 students who received master's, educational specialist and doctoral degrees.

Muhlenberg College, Allentown PA

• Devin Goldsmith of Tolland was named to the Dean's List at Muhlenberg College for the fall 2018 semester. To earn this academic achievement, students must earn a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the term.

Rollins College, Winter Park FL

• Meghan Gifford of Tolland was named to the Dean's List at Rollins College for the fall 2018 semester.

Siena College, Loudonville NY

• Grace Lavertu of Tolland has been named to the Siena College Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student's grade point average for the semester must be between 3.5 and 3.89.
