Car Crashes into Woods off I-84 in Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A car careened into a wooded area off Interstate-84 in Friday afternoon, fire officials said.

According to Tolland Alert, the crash took place at about noon on the eastbound side of the highway, just prior to exit 68.

One person involved was transported to an area hospital and another refused medical attention at the scene, fire officials said.

The vehicle was about 200 feet into the woods, fire officials said. The scene was cleared in about two hours, fire officials said.
