TOLLAND, CT β€” A vehicle ran over a two signs and then slammed into a residence on the Tolland Green.

State police recently released details of the Aug. 1 crash.

According to a crash report, at 1:02 a.m. that day, a 2006 Ford Expedition being driven by a 41-year-old South Windsor man was headed South on Old Stafford Road and approached the curve heading to the Tolland Green.

The driver failed to negotiate the curve, hit a granite curb, ran over the Tolland Green-Old Stafford Road street sign, knocked over a Department of Transportation construction sign and then hit the northwest corner of 63 Tolland Green, according to a crash report.

The driver wasn't hurt, but he was charged with failure to obey a stop sign, and a lane violation.
