Car Hits Tree In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — a car collided with a tree near a park in Tolland Sunday night.

The crash took place at about 9 p.m. near Crandall Park, fire officials said.

The car was resting against a tree, its front end wrecked when emergency crews arrived.

One person was was transported to an area hospital, fire officials said. The extend of the injuries was not disclosed in a report.
