Car Spins Out, Travels 400 Feet In Wild Tolland DUI Wreck: Police
A car was demolished in a crash on I-84 Sunday, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — A wild crash Sunday involving a suspected drunken driver wound up with a wrecked vehicle and a trip to an area hospital, according to state police.
According to a state police crash report, at 6:02 p.m., a 2014 Audi S4 with a 39-year-old Tolland man driving was traveling east on I-84, about a mile short of Exit 68. It suddenly veered off the right side of the highway and struck a guardrail, then veered to the left, went across the highway and rolled up an embankment in the center median, according to a crash report.
In all, the car was out of control for about 400 feet, according to a crash report.

The driver was taken to Rockville General Hospital with minor injuries but every section of the vehicle was damaged, according to a crash report.
The driver was charged with driving under the influence, failure to maintain the proper lane and driving a unregistered car, state police said.
