TOLLAND, CT β€” State police are looking for a car that wrecked a pair of mailboxes and a stop sign in Tolland last week.

Details of the Sept. 18 crash were released this week.

A 2:30 a.m. that day, a vehicle was headed south on Buff Cap Road and, as it approached the intersection of Slater Road, it veered onto the shoulder and took out a stop sign, according to a crash report.

The vehicle continued to head south but again veered off the road and took out a mailbox on the 400 block of Buff Cap Road, according to a crash report. It then crashed into a mailbox on the 300 block, state police said.

The vehicle then hit a rock on Chardonnay Lane before eventually evading the scene, according to a crash report.
