Chalk Up Another Drug Bust For Troop C Police Dog Drago

ROCKY HILL, CT — It was another paw in a drug bust late last week for Drago, the police dog out of the Troop C barracks in Tolland.

This time it was in Rocky Hill.

The incident took place Thursday, when Rocky Hill police had a suspicious car pulled over and requested assistance from area police departments for a narcotics-trained dog.

According to a report, Troop C sent down Drago and Handler Kyle Kaelberer. Drago gave the vehicle a few sniffs along the exterior of the vehicle. Drago's body language alerted Kaelberer to the presence of narcotics and a subsequent search of the vehicle by Rocky Hill police yielded an "illegal firearm" and a considerable stash of drugs, police said.
