College Achievements By Tolland Students

TOLLAND, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clemson University, Clemson SC

• Avery Madison Savoie of Tolland has been named to the Dean's List at Clemson University for the fall 2018 semester. Savoie is majoring in Biochemistry. To be named to the Dean's List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Springfield College, Springfield MA

• Three Springfield College students from Tolland were named to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the fall 2018 term: Victoria Baker, studying Athletic Training; Marissa Paolangeli, studying Health Science; and Taylor Hall, studying Movement & Sport Studies. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.500 for the semester.

University of Saint Joseph, West Hartford CT

• Three students from Tolland have been named to the University of Saint Joseph Dean’s List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Shaina Caplan, Laura Pearson and Amaria Sharon. Students who are awarded this academic achievement have earned a GPA of 3.50 or higher for the semester, with no grade lower than a “B.”
