Champlain College, Burlington VT

  • Blake Anderson of Tolland has been named to the Champlain College President's List for the spring 2019 semester. Students on the President's List have achieved a grade point average of 4.0 or higher during the semester. Anderson is majoring in Computer Networking & Cybersecurity.

Le Moyne College, Syracuse NY

  • Zachary Prattson, of Tolland, has graduated from Le Moyne College with a Bachelor of Science in Software App and Systems Dev and has been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above. Le Moyne's 68th commencement took place on Sunday, May 19, at the New York State Fair's new Exposition Center.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

  • Rochester Institute of Technology conferred some 4,200 degrees this academic year at all its campuses--including in Croatia, Dubai, Kosovo and China. The university held its 134th annual commencement celebration in May. Hannah Bolliger of Tolland received a BFA in photographic and imaging arts; Benjamin Clough of Tolland received a BS in computational mathematics; and Jordan Shea of Tolland received a BS in computer science.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester MA

  • Two Tolland were among 1,598 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence for the spring 2019 semester: Michael Oswald, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in aerospace engineering, and Jared Poulos, a member of the class of 2022 majoring in computer science. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
