- Goodwin College announces that 992 students achieved Dean's List status for the spring 2019 session. Tolland residents on the list are Lacey Gallison, Tammy Litz and Bryan White.
Springfield College, Springfield MA
- At the undergraduate commencement on May 19, 695 bachelor's degrees were awarded. Including the degrees awarded at the graduate ceremony on May 18, a total of 1,265 degrees were awarded over the two days. At the graduate commencement, 522 master's degrees, one certificate of advanced graduate study, five Doctor of Philosophy degrees, 36 Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees, and six Doctor of Psychology degrees were awarded. Graduates from Tolland were Chandler Corlett, bachelor's of science degree in Applied Exercise Science, and Benjamin Duell, doctor of physical therapy degree in Physical Therapy.
- Springfield College has named the following students from Tolland to the Dean's List for academic excellence for the 2019 spring semester. Criteria for selection to the dean's list requires that the student must have a minimum semester grade point average of 3.500 for the semester. Honorees from Tolland and their majors are Chandler Corlett, Applied Exercise Science; Victoria Baker, Athletic Training; Marissa Paolangeli, Health Science; Taylor Hall, Physical Education; and Thomas Callis, Sports Biology.

- Samantha Matteo of Tolland, a junior Nursing major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.
