Construction Starts On Crumbling Tolland School
A massive school rebuilding project is on tap in Tolland because of crumbling foundation issues.
TOLLAND, CT — Construction officially began on Thursday on the "new" Birch Grove Primary School in Tolland as the "old version" needs to be replaced because of crumbling foundation issues.
The school is being rebuilt as part of the $46 million bonding project. It is on track for completion for the start of the school year in late August 2021.
Portable classrooms are being used for the 2019-20 academic year at Birch Grove. See more about the project to fix the school here.
