Cops Looking For Impatient Hit-And-Run Driver After Tolland Crash
State police are looking for a loud vehicle that fled the scene of a crash last week in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT β State police are looking for a loud, impatient morning commuter whose car whacked another while passing on a shoulder in Tolland.
The crash took place Nov. 28 on Route 74 at 6:45 a.m.
According to a state police crash report, a line of cars was building on Route 74 as a vehicle was turning left onto the Interstate-84 westbound on-ramp. The car behind the turning car pulled to the right in an attempt to pass it.

Meanwhile, a vehicle described by state police as a "brown/bronze sport utility vehicle with a loud exhaust" was passing the line of cars on the shoulder, according to a crash report. The loud SUV then slammed into the car that was initially passing the turning car, according to a crash report.
The loud SUV then left the scene heading west on Route 74, state police said.

State police said the Connecticut registration plate on the loud SUV is believed to be 381-ZRC and anyone seeing it can call Trooper Brandan Goodwin at at 860-896-3200.
