Countless Hours of Dedication, On the Job And Off: Tolland Hero

TOLLAND, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This submission comes from Rosemarie Capuano, who nominated Judy Prochorchik of Tolland.

No.

What does the nominee do for work?

Retired Lab Tech.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

She has made masks for Medical Staff at Yale-New Haven Hospital at the request of an MD friend on staff there.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

Judy is a wonderful friend, sister and mother who is constantly giving of her time and talent to all those she knows and loves.
