Crash Closes Section Of Highway In Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A lunchtime crash on the eastbound side of Interstate-84 in Tolland closed the highway for a brief period Monday afternoon.

The crash was reported at about noon. It took place between Exits 67 and 68 and reportedly involved a car and a state Department of Transportation truck, according to fire officials.

All eastbound lanes were closed for a short time between the two exits, fire officials said.
