Crash In Tolland Sends Adult, Child To Hospital

TOLLAND, CT - A driver and child passenger were brought an an area hospital after a crash on Old Stafford Road on Wednesday.

The crash took place at about 11:45 a.m. and the road was closed for about two hours, emergency officials said.

Life Star helicopter was initially called to the scene and could be seen flying over Tolland County. It was, however, called off, public safety officials said.

An extrication was involved before the vehicle's occupants could be treated, public safety officials said.

The crash is still being investigated, but by 12:45, the road had re-opened, public safety officials said.
