Deer, Motorcycle Collide in Tolland; Motorcycle, Car Also Collide

TOLLAND, CT — A motorcycle and deer collided on south river road at the intersection of Anthony Road on Friday night, according to Tolland Alert.

The rider was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital, authorities said.

That was not the only crash so far this weekend.

A car went into a tree along the 500 block of Old Post Road early Saturday morning, according to Tolland Alert.

On Saturday afternoon, a car-motorcycle accident took place at at the intersection of Crystal Lake Road and Browns Bridge Road, according to Tolland Alert. Those involved were treated and transported to area hospitals, according to Tolland Alert.

On Friday, firefighters responded to Merrow Road near Tolland Mobil for a car versus bicycle crash, according to Tolland Alert. The bicyclist was on the ground but alert and conscious, fore officials said.
