Description Released for Man Found at Shenipsit Lake
The body of a man was found on the Tolland side of the lake Wednesday night.

TOLLAND, CT — State police on Thursday morning released a description of the man found dead on the Tolland side of Shenipsit Lake the night before.
The man was found at 7:23 p.m., state police said.
He is being described by state police as a white male, 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair. The man is clean shaven and had no identifying markings, state police said. He appears to be about 50 years old, state police said.

Anyone knowing anyone who might be missing and fitting the description can call the state police Troop C barracks at 860-896-3200.
The lake borders parts of Tolland, Vernon and Ellington and is a major source of drinking water for towns served by the Connecticut Water Co. There is road access to the lake.
