Downed Tree Adds To Blizzard Cleanup Efforts in Tolland

TOLLAND, CT — A section of Peter Green Road in Tolland was closed from Monday afternoon into the evening hours because of a downed tree, fire officials said.

The large chunk of tree also took some wires with it. It could be seen sprawled across the road with several shattered branches,

The road had been plowed, so cleanup crews were able to get to it relatively quickly. No injuries were reported.

As of Tuesday morning, Eversource was reporting no outages in Tolland.
