Driver Escapes Serious Crash In Tolland With Minor Injuries: Cops
A car crashed on Crystal Lake Road in Tolland on Monday, state police said.

TOLLAND, CT — The driver of a 2019 Volkswagon escaped a serious crash with minor injuries on Monday night in Tolland, state police and local fire officials said.
The crash took place at 7:34 p.m. on Crystal Lake Road.
The VW Tiguan was heading south about two-tenths of a mile north of the Route 74 intersection when it veered off the right side of the road and then hit a mailbox, a utility pole and a "large tree," according to a state police crash report.

The driver, a 37-year-old from Stafford who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Hartford hospital with minor injuries by ambulance, according to a report.
