Driver Snagged After Hitting 117 MPH on I-84

TOLLAND, CT — A Massachusetts man was charged with reckless driving after whipping through a stretch of highway in Tolland at 117 mph in early morning traffic this week.

Benjamin Chung Leung Ha, of Quincy, MA, was arrested at 5:18 a.m. on Monday, state police said. He was driving a 2007 Nissan Altima,

Ha was clocked at 117 in Tolland while "navigating" traffic on Interstate-84 and was still doing 103 mph when a trooper caught up to him in Vernon, according to a report.

Ha is due in court on Oct. 23, according to a report.
