Drivers Warned Not to Cut Through New Tolland FD Driveway

The warning was issued Friday after several incidents.

TOLLAND, CT — Tolland public safety officials are warning drivers not to use the new fire department driveway after a few motorists nearly clipped fire vehicles while trying to bypass a traffic light.

The driveway is located at the intersection of Rhodes Road and state Route 195.

"This driveway isn't for civilians," but for emergency vehicles heading to calls, public safety officials said.
