Eagle Scout Project Taking On Gazebo Repairs In Tolland
The Veterans gazebo in Tolland is getting a makeover as part of an Eagle Scout project.

TOLLAND, CT — An Eagle Scout project aims to fix up the Veterans Gazebo in Tolland.
Sam Peck is in the process of repairing the gazebo, located at Crandalls Pond near the Lions Field.
Peck's Eagle project is taking place with guidance from the Tolland Veterans Recognition Commission). His main efforts will include:

- Raising funds, labor assistance from friends and family and gathering materials
- Replacing the deteriorated and rotten cedar roof with a new cedar roof
- Removing graffiti from the gazebo
- Sanding and staining the gazebo
- Removing and replacing plantings around the gazebo
- Improving the water view of Crandalls Pond
