End 68 Hours of Hunger
Visit the End 68 Hours of Hunger booth at "Celebrate Tolland" to see how you can make a difference
The group that is sponsoring End 68 Hours of Hunger in Tolland will sponsor a booth at Celebrate Tolland on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The booth will be located at the Tolland Recreation Center at 104 Old Post Road, Tolland, CT.
Donations to End 68 Hours of Hunger will be welcomed at the booth to meet the needs of school children who confront more than 68 hours of hunger between the free lunch that they are served at school on Friday afternoon, and the free breakfast that they receive at school on Monday morning. 100% of every dollar that is donated goes to purchase food that is put into backpacks by volunteers. These backpacks are delivered to the participating schools weekly.
