Catholic Youth Spectacular

The sixth annual 2011 Catholic Youth Spectacular, which brings over 1900 teenagers together, to celebrate their faith through song, prayer, activities and a special Mass celebrated by Archbishop Henry J. Mansell, will take place on Sunday, September 18 at the Archdiocesan Center at St. Thomas Seminary in Bloomfield from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This year’s exciting event will include performances by Catholic Christian singer Joia Farmer, along with APeX Ministries, a duo of “Christian Vaudeville” evangelists, who are known for their death defying juggling acts, and skits. The afternoon will also include fun and spiritual activities namely a garden rosary, stations of the Resurrection, Catholic Jeopardy, and even an appearance by Rocky, the Rock Cat’s mascot.

Highlights of last year’s Spectacular can be found at: www.youthspectacular.net.
