Coventry Farmers Market Swap Event

From the Coventry Farmers Market:

Please join us for our next swap! This time of year we refocus on our home and on ourselves before winter. I don't know about you - but around this time of year my skin dries out. Naturally, we thought a cosmetic swap should be in order. Have you ever made homemade bubble bath, shampoo, lip balm or hand salve? Now is the time to experment! As always, you do not have to bring something theme-related - anything home grown, handcrafted, homemade is swappable. But remember, this is a SWAP - you must sign up and bring something to get something in return!*

Time: Starting at 10:00am. That's right - BEFORE the market. 

Location: Park at the Nathan Hale Homestead. Come for the swap, stay for the market! Swappers will gather between the barn and the Hale schoolhouse. Look for our CRFM Swappers logo sign - the same general area as previous swaps. If we are in a new location, a reminder will be posted on our Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1485109106#!/CoventryFarmersMarket, but you can also check in at the Market Masters tent. We will have tables set up exclusively for swappers. Drop off your goods, stick around to swap, and then do the rest of your market shopping! 

Format: We will pass out tags for each item to be swapped. Swapping will start at 10:30ish and end once all the items are swapped. Please feel free to print and fill out your tag ahead of time at http://cosmeticswap.eventbrite.com/. Reminder: ONE TAG PER ITEM YOU WANT TO SWAP! This means if you bring two jars of jam, you need to fill out two tags. It is up to you whether you want to combine two jars of jam to swap for one item (i.e. a dozen eggs) later - each swapper determines the value of the items in their trades.

*Be mindful that this is an outdoor event (and people will stay for the market afterwards), so food should either be frozen ahead of time or packed to withstand a few hours outside of the fridge. An alternative may be to bring a stack of recipes. Feel free to bring samples to taste if you would like (but you dont have to!)
