Jane has written more than 25 thrillers featuring Gregor Demarkian, a former FBI agent. She grew up in Bethel and still lives in Litchfield County. Her books have been very popular, and the most recent one is "Wanting Sheila Dead." Mostly, her books are set in Philadelphia, where Gregor lives with his wife Bennis Hannaford, but sometimes, Jane has the couple travel to Connecticut for a change of pace.
