Expensive Car Crashes Into Bushes on Remote Tolland Road
A car crash involving a juvenile took place early Tuesday on a remote stretch of road in Tolland.

TOLLAND, CT — Emergency crews had to pull a Mercedes Benz driven by a 15-year-old out of the bushes on a remote stretch of road in Tolland early Tuesday morning, according to Tolland Alert.
The crash took place at 1:23 a.m. on the dirt section of Shenipsit Lake Road, according to Tolland Alert. State police said it was along the 600 block.
The 1984 Mercedes 190 initially hit a tree and had visible damage to the windshield and driver's side, images from the scene indicate. State police found the driver and passenger, also 15, on the side of the road, according to a crash report.

The driver and a passenger were transported by ambulance to Connecticut Children's Medical Center with minor injuries, according to state police.
The driver was referred to juvenile court for reckless driving, risk of injury to a minor and driving without a license, state police said.

A crash report did not indicate where the teens were from nor did it say how they obtained the vehicle.
