Film Shoots in Manchester, Tolland
The cast and crew of "Diamond Ruff" filmed at the Silk City Print Shoppe and Old Tolland County Jail on Saturday.
A little touch of Hollywood glamour came to north central Connecticut this weekend, as a film starring Onyx member Fredro Starr shot in Manchester and Tolland on Saturday afternoon.
According to Young Feature Films media contact Vivian Dennis, the film, “Diamond Ruff” centers on the graphic novel of the same name, written by Connecticut native Joe Young Jr. Young was raised in Hartford and Bloomfield and is now the head of Young! Studios, a graphic and advertising agency in Hartford, according to Dennis.
Alec Asten is directing the film, which shot at the Silk City Print Shoppe in Manchester, as well as in the .
