Fire Breaks Out At Home In Tolland Friday

TOLLAND, CT — A fire broke out at a home in Tolland early Friday morning.

Tolland Fire Department officials said the home is located along the 400 block of Buff Cap Road. The road was closed while firefighters were at the scene.

By about 430 a.m. the fire involved two alarms and flames could be seen shooting out of a front window of the ranch-style home.

No injuries reported. The American Red Cross was on hand helping those displaced — two families consisting of four adults and three 3 children. The Red Cross provided assistance to meet their immediate needs.

The cause is being investigated.
