Genealogy For Kids To Be Rescheduled

Library workshop for ages 9 and up at Tolland Public Library

The Geni For Kids: An Introduction to Genealogy program at Tolland Public Library is being rescheduled from Tuesday, Aug. 19th, at 2 p.m. to a later date in August; date and time TBA. For ages 9 and up. Genealogy isn't just for grown-ups! Learn how to be a family history detective at Tolland Public Library's "Geni for Kids" introductory workshop; budding genealogists ages 9 and up can create a history chart and family group sheet; learn about basic genealogical terms and methods; explore online resources including Ancestry.com; and construct a family timeline with the help of Tolland Library staff and volunteers from the French Canadian Genealogical Society of Connecticut.
