Give a Smile, Garden Paths Gala, Go Skating
Here's what is in store for the weekend: free dental care, a garden club gala, learn about the job search from the HR perspective, public skating and live music from local youth.
The weekend could not have come at a better time. There are plenty of activities to keep you busy.
In honor of Annual Give Kids a Smile Day, the Hartford Dental Society is offering for children in need. If you have an uninsured child under the age of 18, head to 500 Albany Ave in Hartford between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. It’s first come, first serve, so get there early!
Closer to home, the Tolland Garden Paths club is having a at the Tolland County Agricultural Center at 24 Hyde Ave in Vernon. The free event is 9:30 a.m. to noon. There will be a talk on “Woodland Beauties” and refreshments will be served.

People on the hunt for a job are invited to attend a workshop at the Tolland Public Library today, 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Attendees can learn about from the Human Resources perspective, which can help give them an edge in the market.
Looking for an active event to do with the family? South Windsor Arena, on 585 John Fitch Blvd., hosts today, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.-9 p.m.

Tonight, come cheer on local, young musicians at the Tolland Youth Services Community Theater . High school performers and bands will be playing at the high school at 7 p.m. Free refreshments will be served.
