GPS Tracker Planted By Tolland Woman Leads To E-Stalking Arrest, Police Say

TOLLAND, CT — A 26-year-old Tolland woman was arrested early Tuesday on domestic violence warrants after police said two incidents last year involved refusing to leave a residence, blocking a vehicle, and secretly placing a GPS tracker in a victim’s car.

South Windsor police said Cierra M. Pacheco, 26, of Tolland, was taken into custody at 1:39 a.m. March 10 on three arrest warrants tied to incidents that occurred in November and December 2025.

According to police, the November incident began when Pacheco allegedly refused to leave the victim’s residence. Officers said she then blocked the victim’s vehicle, preventing him from leaving the property.

Police said a second incident in December involved Pacheco allegedly damaging a window at the victim’s residence and attempting to enter the home through that same window.

Investigators also said the victim later discovered a GPS tracking tag inside his vehicle that had been placed there by Pacheco to monitor his movements.

Pacheco was taken into custody by the East Windsor Police Department and later transferred to South Windsor police.

She was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief, electronic stalking and second-degree unlawful restraint.

Pacheco was processed and released on a $10,000 surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 10 at 9 a.m.
