TOLLAND, CT β€” A wide turn and a parked car taking up more than one space did not make a good combination at a commuter lot in Tolland, state police said.

The incident took place just before 5 p.m. Thursday, state police said.

According to a state police crash report, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix was unoccupied in the center of the Exit 68 commuter lot, parked at a angle and taking up several spaces, according to a crash report.

In came a 202 Ford Ranger Supercrew pickup truck and the driver, a 77-year-old Tolland resident, hit the Pontiac while attempting to make a u-turn, according to a crash report.
