The local project and grants manager met with students from the University of
Connecticut who will be working on a design for the project as part of the UConn Design Project Program, Foley said. The program provides students an opportunity to design real-life projects as part of their learning experience. There is no cost to the town for participating in the program, Foley said.
The projects and grants manager will work with the students throughout the semester, Foley said. A final design with cost estimates is targeted for December, Foley said.
