Connecticut Residents: Have You Added a Free Chipotle Meal to Your Blizzard Checklist?

Milk? Check. Bread? Check. Free Chipotle burrito? It could be yours.

A blizzard is barreling toward Connecticut, but there is still time to secure a free Chipotle burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos.

The company is dubbing today as Sofritas Monday to encourage the purchase of their organic tofu option.

With Connecticut power companies preparing for major storm-related power outages, a free meal could come in handy over the next few days.

Buyers will be eligible to receive a free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos that is usable between Jan. 27 and Feb. 28.

According to the Chipotle website, customers who order Sofritas on Monday, Jan. 26at any Chipotle in the country will be given back their receipt to get a free item next visit.

The site states:

Order our organic tofu Sofritas on Monday, January 26th at any Chipotle in the US or Canada, then bring your receipt back on your next visit—from January 27th through February 28th, 2015—for a FREE burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos of your choice.
