High School Fall Team Sports Championship History: Where Does Tolland Stand?

A look at past team championships won in the eight fall sports, and where Tolland High School ranks in each.

TOLLAND, CT — The end of October is near, and the state cross country championships will be contested beginning this morning at Wickham Park in Manchester. With more state tournaments upcoming over the next few weeks, Patch decided to took a look at the history of team championships in the eight fall sports, both statewide and locally.

We will analyze state titles won in boys and girls cross country, field hockey, football, boys and girls soccer, girls swimming and girls volleyball. Please note: we are only counting team championships won in cross country and swimming, with both class titles and State Open crowns included; individual event champions are not included.

Here is the breakdown of the top 10 for each fall sport, including Tolland High School titles where applicable.
