How Historic a Town is Tolland?

A look at Tolland locations listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

There are over 90,000 sites in the United States listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Connecticut lays claim to 1,597 of them, with three located within the town of Tolland.

The Tolland County Courthouse at 53 Tolland Green was the first to achieve the national designation on Sept. 17, 1977. The most recent was the Tolland Green Historic District, roughly along Old Post, Tolland Stage, and Cider Mill Rds., designated on Aug. 1, 1997.

Also on the list of official Historic Places is the John Cady House at 484 Mile Hill Rd., which was honored on Apr. 12, 1982.
