I-84 Ramp to be Fully Open For UConn Move-In Days: Official
The area near Exit 68 on I-84 has been a construction zone for months.
TOLLAND, CT — The Interstate-84 Exit 68 eastbound off ramp will be fully open for UConn's move-in weekend, a state Department of Transportation spokesman said Wednesday.
Fall athletes and students who arranged early check-in are already on campus, but most UConn freshmen are slated to move-in beginning at 7 a.m. Friday.
The rest of the student body will move in over the course of the weekend, university officials said.

The exit ramp had been down to just the extreme right-hand lane, but all lanes should be marked and open by Friday, DOT spokesman Kevin Nursick said.
Exit 68 is the link between I-84 and state route 195, the main road to the UConn campus, about 7 miles away.

The road has been an active construction site for months with lanes being widened, reconfigured and a bridge being replaced.
